Areas of responsibility within Forfusion
As Head of Finance, I manage a vital finance function within the business. This role requires me to ensure all financial data is accurate, financial risks are identified, managed and all financial reporting is delivered on time. In addition, I track the financial health of the company and ensure that it remains on a strong financial footing.
Industry experience
I started my working world within the finance sector close to home in Newcastle and then moved to London to carve out my career and continue my passion for numbers. In London, I gained extensive experience working in different financial roles within City institutions, primarily in Insurance Services and Retail, for 23 years. I progressed to managing accounting teams, guiding, and building relationships, which strengthened coalitions with colleagues to achieve business objectives. I combined my accounting roles with operating Treasury Exchange Portfolios to protect the risk and value of the company. All my roles align well to interpret financial information to enable me to inform leadership teams to make prudent decisions.

Other interests
Outside of work, I am always busy with my family and two teenage children. I enjoy wandering along the river in Durham, visiting my daughter at university, watching her row and also cheering on my son playing football and cricket for his local teams. To relax, fine wine and holidays are always at the top of my agenda.
