Our commitment to creating a positive change for the future by leveraging our skills and expertise.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is at the core of Forfusion's culture. As a company, we're committed to making a positive change in the world around us through meaningful partnerships and dedicated efforts in our local communities. We take pride in supporting our employees in giving back their time to make a difference in the wider community.
We believe in inclusivity and aim to reach every aspect of our community, regardless of race, gender, age, or background. We prioritise giving back through STEM initiatives, supporting veterans, and partnering with charities. We firmly believe in doing our part, no matter how small, to help progress towards the UN's 2030 Sustainable Development Goal.
The Prince’s Trust
One of the ways we drive meaningful change is through our ongoing partnership with the Newcastle United Foundation (NUF) and The Prince’s Trust Teams programme. Extending our support beyond financial contributions, we actively engage with and nurture the talents of young individuals eager to explore the world of IT.
By opening our doors to young people for site visits and work placements, we offer first-hand experience of our company's operations. We aim to cultivate a brighter future for our industry and the talented individuals who aspire to participate in it.
Newcastle United Foundation (NUF)
Through our partnership with the Newcastle United Foundation (NUF), we strive to make a real difference in the lives of young adults. Helping to improve their teamwork skills, self-confidence, and personal development by assisting with work placements, mock interviews, career assemblies, and career focus groups.
We're proud to be a part of this program and look forward to continuing to inspire and prepare the next generation to thrive.
We take pride in our ongoing commitment to inspire and guide the next generation of STEM specialists. Our collaboration with local schools aims to spark students' enthusiasm for learning and future career possibilities.
We regularly engage with students through interactive presentations, workshops, work placements, and mentoring sessions, which allow us to showcase the exciting world of IT and help students explore potential career paths within the industry. We strongly believe in the power of education and its role in shaping tomorrow's leaders.
Armed Forces Covenant
We're a proud signatory to the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant and are committed to supporting service leavers through our Civilian Work Attachment (CWA) scheme. We understand that transitioning to civilian employment can be challenging for members of HM Armed Forces, especially when it comes to gaining relevant industry experience.
Our CWA scheme allows service leavers to gain valuable experience in a civilian work environment as part of a structured training and mentoring package. We provide them with the perfect opportunity to determine whether a career within the IT industry is for them when they transition to Civvy Street.
Walking With The Wounded
As a company that employs many ex-forces personnel, we proudly partner with the charity Walking With The Wounded (WWTW) – strongly connecting with their mission of supporting veterans transitioning into civilian life.
We take great pride in participating in events, such as CEO sleepouts, the Great North Run team, and the Cumbrian Challenge, to raise funds for their crucial employment opportunities, mental health support, and care programs.
