My Project Management expertise was cultivated over a 24-year career in the Royal Signals, where I gained extensive experience in challenging environments worldwide, including Bosnia, Sierra Leone, Northern Ireland, Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Arctic Circle! Beginning my military communications career as a Radio Telegraphist specialising in Morse Code, I progressed to the role of Yeoman of Signals, offering strategic planning and deployment advice on military communications.
As Head of Project Office, I develop and implement best practices and standards within the Project Management Office (PMO) while overseeing project and programme delivery across a highly diverse client base. My remit also includes continuous review of project health and profitability while leading and developing a team of world-class IT consultants, engineers, and project managers.
Since transitioning from the Army’s Royal Signals in 2013, I began my career as a Project Manager in the Oil & Gas industry, managing projects across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Later, I became a Portfolio Lead for Strategic Network Delivery and Support roles within the UK, serving both government and multinational clients. I joined Forfusion in 2021 as a Senior Project Manager, working directly with client businesses as a Consultant Project Manager, providing detailed knowledge of how best to leverage success with Forfusion.
Outside of work, I'm an avid mountain biker, spending most weekends at Hamsterley Forest and the Scottish Borders to stay active and enjoy the great outdoors.
