Annual Modern Slavery Statement

Annual Modern Slavery Statement

Reporting period: 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026

1. Introduction

Forfusion Limited is committed to conducting business responsibly, ethically and with integrity. Modern slavery, including slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour and human trafficking, is incompatible with our values and the way we work.

This statement describes the steps taken by Forfusion during the reporting period shown above to identify, prevent and address modern slavery risks in our operations and supply chain.

2. Publication basis

At the date of approval, Forfusion has determined that it is not required to publish a statement under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We are publishing this statement voluntarily because transparency and responsible supply-chain management are important to our business. This position will be reviewed annually, including the applicable turnover and organisational-scope rules.

3. Our organisation and supply chain

Forfusion is a UK technology and professional services business. We provide IT consultancy, systems integration and managed services across networking, cybersecurity, cloud and data centre infrastructure, and collaboration technologies to public and private-sector customers. Our registered office is at Cobalt Business Exchange, Cobalt Park Way, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE28 9NZ.

Our supply chain includes technology vendors and distributors, professional services, subcontracted service providers and business-support suppliers. The level and nature of modern slavery risk varies by product, service, geography, workforce model and supply-chain visibility.

4. Governance and policies

The Board oversees Forfusion’s approach to modern slavery and approves this statement. The Business Services Director owns the Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy, supported by the People Team and those responsible for procurement, supplier onboarding and contract management.

Relevant internal arrangements include the Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy, Whistleblowing Policy, recruitment and onboarding controls, grievance and disciplinary procedures, and supplier-management processes.

5. Risk assessment

During the reporting period, Forfusion conducted a full risk assessment. Our approach considered factors such as sector, geography, product origin, labour model, use of subcontractors, recruitment practices, supplier governance, adverse information and supply-chain complexity.

The principal risk areas identified were:

  • Technology hardware and global manufacturing supply chains due to the complexity and international nature of technology product manufacturing and distribution.
  • Subcontracted professional services and temporary labour arrangements where services may be delivered through third-party contractors or recruitment intermediaries.
  • Labour-intensive business-support services such as facilities, logistics, hospitality and similar outsourced services where sector-wide modern slavery risks may be higher.

6. Due diligence and supplier controls

During the reporting period, Forfusion took the following evidenced steps:

  • Implemented modern slavery considerations within supplier onboarding activities, using a documented risk-based approach to assess suppliers and subcontractors against relevant risk indicators, including sector, geography, workforce model, subcontracting arrangements and supply-chain complexity.
  • Obtained and reviewed relevant supplier information where appropriate, including published Modern Slavery Statements, policies, supplier declarations or other available evidence relating to ethical employment and human rights practices.
  • Applied additional review activities where elevated risk indicators were identified, including consideration of supplier governance arrangements, publicly available information and any additional evidence considered relevant to the nature of the supplier relationship.
  • Incorporated modern slavery and human trafficking requirements into relevant supplier and subcontractor contractual arrangements, including compliance, notification and supply-chain flow-down provisions where appropriate to the services being provided.
  • Maintained records of due diligence, onboarding assessments and supplier governance activities, and incorporated modern slavery considerations into ongoing supplier management and periodic policy review processes. Where concerns are identified, documented escalation, investigation and remediation procedures are available to support an appropriate response.

Where a concern is identified, Forfusion’s approach is to protect potential victims, investigate proportionately, seek specialist advice where necessary and use corrective action rather than automatic termination where termination could increase harm.

7. Our people

Forfusion maintains controls intended to support lawful and fair employment, including written terms, right-to-work checks, controlled payroll arrangements, access to grievance and whistleblowing routes, and a prohibition on retaining identity documents or charging workers recruitment fees.

During the reporting period, Forfusion maintained workforce assurance controls designed to support lawful, transparent and ethical employment practices. All employees were subject to secure pre-employment screening appropriate to their role, including identity verification and right-to-work checks where applicable. Forfusion also undertook an annual review of workforce records, requesting employees to review and confirm the accuracy of key personal and employment information held by the company. This process supports the maintenance of accurate employment records, strengthens workforce governance and provides an additional opportunity to identify and address any anomalies or concerns.

8. Training and awareness

During the reporting period, the Business Services team completed modern slavery awareness training. Role-specific training or guidance is to be provided to all staff, covering risk indicators, reporting routes and supplier controls by the 31st March 2027.

9. Reporting and remediation

Employees may raise concerns through line management, the People Team, the Business Services Director or the Whistleblowing Procedure. Suppliers and contractors may raise concerns through their Forfusion contract contact or the published compliance contact. Reports made in good faith are protected from retaliation.

During the reporting period, Forfusion recorded no modern slavery concerns through its reporting channels and no concerns were escalated under its modern slavery procedures. The company recognises that modern slavery risks can exist in all sectors and therefore continues to maintain proportionate controls, reporting mechanisms and supplier governance activities to support ongoing risk management.
